A/N; Now before you read, I'd like to say that this is a new character I created just recently. And since this character is supposed to be all mysterious and what not, it will be in first person point of view, so his/her identity will remain a secret. At least for now.

I watched them pick up the scrap of paper and read over it. For a second I thought they would believe what it says, but sadly they did not and tossed the paper aside. Even so, I didn't come out of hiding to pick it up but I followed them when they continued walking. Though they didn't know I was following them, I could tell they had a sneaky suspicion that they were being watched. It wasn't a surprise since every living thing has some kind of sixth sense that helps them survive, unfortunately everybody ignores their senses or instinct. But because of the war we are in, they knew to listen to their feelings and remain cautious.

This is probably why they aren't caught by surprise that often, because I am always following them and the notes I leave them have some kind of warning in them. Now they may say they don't believe my notes, but as time passes and the more notes I leave with the obstacles they must face written on them I can tell they are slowly starting to pay attention.  Soon they will beleive them and actually look for the notes instead of just stumbling upon them like usual.

So, as I followed them I watched their actions and paid close attention to their conversations even if they are of no help. Such as the current conversation, it is about my latest note that I had left just for them. It is of no help, but it does seem to be an interesting one seeing as for once there are two sides to this conversation. A debate per say and my note is the main topic of it.

"I'm starting to think those notes aren't just pranks." said a young ferret, Muddle is his name and he is the scientist of this group.

"Don't be stupid Muddle." a dark brown feline said, Layla also known as the leader of the Resistence. "Those notes are just someone's idiotic prank."

"How come after we find them, something happens?" Muddle asked.

A young gryphon with golden brown fur nodded her head. "And why is it always what the notes say?"

"That is just coincidence, Barb." Layla responded.

I shook my head in disappointment at this feline. There is no such thing as coincidences, hasn't she learned this? When I watched them and listened to their argument of my notes I find that Layla hasn't figured out that there is no such thing as coincidences. The same goes for Salt, both are too stubborn to change their minds on it.

"We are in a war, things like that will happen."

When night fell, I kept my distance from their campsite and pulled another peice of paper from my pocket along with a pen. Even if they don't believe me, I will continue to help them by leaving my notes. So I thought carefully before I began writing...

Ignore these notes and death will come to you,
do try to listen or else a member will be lost.
I give you these warnings so to ensure the end of the war.

And at the end of the page I rewrote the warning I gave in my other note;

'An ambush awaits your arrival, be careful as you travel.'

Once done with the note, I stood up and looked over to the soft yellow glow of their campfire in the distance. Because of their caution someone would stay up to look for trouble so like always I started to walk ahead, in the direction they were headed. I found a dying shrub and stuck the note on one of the bare branches at the top.

...

When morning came I was awake just in time to see them find it and read it. "This sounds like both a threat and a warning." Blight, a light orange deer said.

"Which is it?" asked Barb.

It was quiet for many moments before Muddle spoke up. "I think it's a warning like the other notes."

Salt rolled his eyes. "I don't trust whoever writes these things."

They don't trust me? I've been warning them ever since Jag took over the Snatchers and went power crazy. Is it because I only leave notes? That I hide myself? I somehow feel hurt by hearing this, but why? I already knew they didn't trust me, it was always written all over their faces and showed in their attitudes and actions. So, why does it hurt to hear it?

Salt drops the note and stomps on it before walking ahead of the others. Layla and Blight soon joined the albino gryphon, talking about how they agree. I remained where I was, noticing how Muddle and Barb hadn't walked with them yet. They looked like they were thinking, though when their names were called they broke from their thoughts. Barb ran back to the group, leaving Muddle behind. He bent down and picked up the note to read over it  one more time.

"Muddle!"

He dropped the note. "Coming!"

Muddle ran to the group, leaving the crumpled peice of paper on the ground; I waited until they were out of sight to come out of hiding and pick it up. I put it back in my pocket before continueing to follow the group in hopes they changed their mind of their opinions on my warnings. It was hard to follow them since they had said they don't trust me but I managed seeing as I have never met them in person.

When the sun reached it's peak in the sky, they exited the woods and began walking across a meadow, toward what looked like a highway in the distance. I remain in the woods, watching them go towards the highway. Even before they were too far away to see, a black-brown gryphon flew out of one of the clouds in the sky. A swarm of robotic hornets came flying in from the distance, the one controling the hornets being a pink cat in a purple dress who drove off the highway and toward them. I recognize the gryphon as Lenx, Salt's enemy, while the cat is Xane who was supposed to be part of the resistence but somehow worked for Jag.

I sighed and simply walked off right as the fight began. They didn't listen to me, so now they will end up losing one of their teammates. At least that's what the outcome looks like, they may have a bigger number on their team but they give mercy. The Snatchers don't give mercy so they kill in cold blood.

Then again...they may beat the Snatchers, but that's just this battle. The war will still go on, until Jag is dead. And until then I will continue my work of leaving warnings for them, no matter what.
Yeah I was bored, so I posted my latest Sonic OC's first story here on DA. He/she is known as Sor. Now bow to the mysterious character!
LOL...JK.

Anyway, how is it?
